Altar Appointments

The altar bread and altar wine for the month of November are donated in loving memory of Marie and Lou Miller.
The sanctuary lamp in the church is lighted this week in loving memory of James Ring (Larry Bannon).

Baptism

Our schedule for future Baptisms is:
Baptism Instruction

Parents must be registered parishioners of Holy Rosary. We urge expectant parents to contact the Parish Center to make arrangements for Baptism before your child is born.


Feeding the Homeless

We were able to supply a complete roast beef dinner for 100 people on November 12. Thank you to all who donated and helped in any way! We will be feeding the homeless again on Monday, December 10. If you would like to help, please call Ann Higgins, 941-4607, Penny Lawlor, 943-7698, or the Parish Center, 945-6329.


Food Pantry

We were able to assist 17 families with food during the month of September. Thank you to all who donated and helped in any way! The Food Pantry will be open on Tuesday, November 20, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.


R.C.I.A. - Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

A process for those who have a desire to become Catholic or are Catholic and for one reason or another have not received the Sacraments of Initiation (Eucharist and Confirmation). For further information, please contact Deacon Mike at 945-1041 or leave a message at the Parish Center.


Historical Corner

Q: When was the first Mass said at the Church of the Holy Rosary?
A: On November 24, 1907, the first Mass was held in the Church Hall (the original Church) at 8 AM and was celebrated by the Pastor, Rev. Daniel J. Brady. Later that day, a two-week mission began administered by the Paulist Fathers from the City of New York.

Second Collection for Catholic Relief Services - 11/17-18

This nationwide program gives us an opportunity to exercise our faith by helping people help themselves - your support is appreciated.
