Peace garden

What is happening in the Edgewater Millenium Peace Garden in Veterans' Field Park?
The garden looked so beautiful last year, and the walkway looked like it got started and then dug up again...and now the flowers are wilting! (drought?)
What happened to this beautiful place? Lack of funding? Lack of volunteers?
What can we do to keep up this beautiful respite from the world's insanity?
It should not be neglected nor forgotten.
