Of Marinas and Mayors

For several years certain people have been criticizing the mayor and saying he opposed saving the marina. Last night the mayor went to the Bergen County Open Space Committee and after many failed attempts by various council members and activists, came away with $2,000,000 towards purchase of the marina. Just proving what he has said all along that he wants the marina saved but doesn't want to do it on the backs of the taxpayers. Way to go Mayor Christiansen!
