I just noticed this posting after doing a search for Taylor Pork Roll in Cape May, NJ.
I am the great-niece of the 90 year old woman mentioned in the last post. Her name was Ann, she also worked alongside my grandmother, Fay who was in her 70's around that time. My family owned and worked the restaurant from the 1950's through the early 1990's. I spent the better part of my childhood behind those knotty pine counters, and soda fountains. We opened at 9AM every morning, and stayed open til 11PM each night. It was a grueling business, but to this day I miss the smell of coffee and pork roll in the morning. I appreciate any memories anyone may have about our restaurant.
