I guess it's ok to speed Undercliff!!!!!!!

Well, I have seen it all now!!!! While traveling down Undercliff Avenue in front of EVG I was passed by a speedy BMW which had to be doing at least 40+!!!!!! This is not the first time this has happened, while writing this letter of concern I just saw another car race past EVG. With the summer fast approaching are we going to let our children play out side and become targets for these fast moving cars and there "hurry up I have to be somewhere yesterday drivers" run the street with speeds in access of 40+........The gentleman driving must have been going to a fire or was the winner of the lottery perhaps? I was at last nights town meeting 4/15/02 and the subject was brought up about stop signs and trying to slow people down along our now over packed streets. The answer to this was "the law will not allow us to act on this"!!!! So I guess we will wait until the fellow with the BMW hits someone and than we can change the law and give the name of the person who had to pay for it!!!!! The wait and sees will always cost someone in the end, do something about this before this becomes someone life!!!!!
