That's a good question. When I moved back to Edgewater in 1988, Gerard Peterson was still on the council but I think he was the last one. All the old-timers seem to have moved on both on earth and beyond. I know that there are still Republicans living in town but I guess no one is interested in getting a club going.
Up here in Fairview, the last election was uncontested. I always joke that I am the only Republican in town.
