As part of tracing my ancestors, every so often I will look for answers about an accident in which my grandfather lost a leg while working in a sugar factory. He and his brother in law worked for the company in Brooklyn that became Jack Frost. The B-I-Law, John Hunt moved from Manhattan to Edgewater between 1925 and 1930. He was listed as a surpervisor of a confectionary in the 1930 census. They both lived in Brooklyn in 1910 and were listed as working in a confectionary.
Would anyone know where the history of Jack Frost is available ?
I would still like to read about the accident that happened to Grandfather back around 1915 in which a 100 lb bag of sugar fell on him crushing his leg.
