Undercliff in the 70's

Just remembering the good old days...jump rope in front of Holy Rosary, "kick the can" and "spook" at night, sitting on the "stoop", the Ice Cream man would give you a free Circus Surprise if you got a monkey on your stick! I remember the "girl" Ice Cream man..her name was Karen & she had long black hair. She was so nice. How about sitting on people's cars and thinking nothing of it! Remember that guy Bob who lived across from the church? He had a little silver Datsun Z-something or other...If you sat on his car he would freak out! Everyone was always outside just hanging out. It was the coolest place to grow up. In the 'burbs now where nobody knows your name. Any more memories?
