<< Beth, working for a respected local paper like the Edgewater Residential is a big respect in my opinion. It may be a small paper in your eye. I have a lot of respect for that paper. It's a big paper for me bigger than the New York Times becuase it's my home paper. >> Nelson, it's a small local "shopper's" monthly paper. There are weeklies, bi-weeklies, monthlies, that all do the same thing basically, but they do not hire and pay full-time reporters, they are more like mom-and-pop operations. That's not a knock, it's reality, and Maria of the Residential would be the first to tell you that. Serious journalists work for serious publications, and you're not going to find any Pulitzer Prize winners at the Bergen News, the Edgewater Residential, or any similar publications.
