In Response To: Mayor's Qualification (Tim)
I am a little confused--why should only "all Mayors" running for election have to point this out, and not all CANDIDATES for Mayor? Why do you limit your criterion to incumbent Mayors who are running for election? I too worked ON Wall Street prior to having my children, and I personally don't believe that the attainment of any particular level of formal education (ever hear of Abe Lincoln?)is a prerequisite to public service. And I have to wonder why you question only one candidate's qualifications--aren't you equally concerned about the other Mayoral candidate's education, too? By mentioning only one, your posting looks politically motivated, like it was posted by someone working for that other candidate or against the incumbent Mayor. Don't you realize that that is the way it looks to anyone reading your posting? People in Edgewater aren't fooled that easily, you know.
