Boy are you on a toot. Ok, let's go for it. Let's talk where your money (ICBE) is coming from.
1. Edgewater Home and Garden Tour. Every year Bruce, (and everyone else who does not know it,) the ICBE run the this garden tour as a community service. It is advertised all over. Why don't you tell the public, Bruce, about this suppossed community event. Never mind, I'll tell. It is no more than a fundraiser for the ICBE. It does not appear in any election filing. Yet the majority of the money supports its candidates. The event is NEVER ADVERTISED AS A FUNDRAISER. This is one of the biggest scams around and Bruce, you know it. It has been going on for the past 3-4 years. Come clean Bruce, as you seem to by the spinmister for Beatrice. How much money has been raised, while the public is duped into believing this is a community event.
Do you remember the first year it was run under the guise of funding the Historic Society. 5% went to the Historic Society, and the rest went to the ICBE election campaign. How many shopkeepes put up posters advertising the event as a community service, when in fact was a pure election fundraiser for your ICBE. Whole Foods had your flyers in their store, until they were informed that this was a fundraiser for Valory and Mary Hogan. They were shocked and Duped. They pulled the flyers. Real honest, Bruce.
Special Interests.
Let us talk about Special Interest. There is no more special interest in this town then the ICBE. They want NO Ferry and have tried every which way to kill it. NO developemnt and tried every which way to kill it. This town would still be an underdeveloped factory town if it were for the ICBE. Every cent you get is special interest money. It is funded by people who want no development. Some are on the Council and some are on the Board of Adjustment. Some are your lawyers and your advisers. They are as special interest as anyone elses special interest. And if the ICBE were in control, everyone knows you would appoint people who have been friendly to your Special Interest (people who have supported financially you causes. Who is kidding who, Bruce.
You are a watchdog group. Right. A watchdog group watches the politicans. You run politicans. You are the only Special Interest Group in the World that has its own politicans. Then you pretend that you are unbaised. Give us a break, Bruce. You have more special interest than anyone. I think we need another party to be the watchdog of the watchdogs. The whole concept is a manipulative joke, Bruce, and you know it. You have turned into the most biased individual out there. Nothing is ever right.
Then you have the audicity to claim that the Democrats are cheats and dishonest. You guys are the biggest manipulators in history claiming that you speak for the community. Bruce, Let us get it real straight. YOU SPEAK FOR YOUR INTERESTS AND YOUR GROUPS INTERESTS ONLY.
Thank heavens you are in the minority.
Tell the 4000-5000 people who have moved into this wonderful community in the past 4-5 years, that were it for you and the ICBE, their buildings would not have been built. That Bruce, is the fact of the matter. You have alienated developers so much that if you ever got control, they (the developers) would take their money and run for the hills leaving us like we were before this boom. You don't get it Bruce. Development is not a dirty word although you have made it one. Being in favor of redevelopment with you is just short of an indictable offense.
Fundraisers, that are disguised as community affairs events.
Special Interests that run their own politicans.
Lies about everything you guys do.
Do you ever, ever stop spinning. Never, Bruce.
