Absolutely, there is a time and place for things. You can look casual at a picnic, but if you want people to take you seriously and trust you enough to vote for you, you have to earn that trust. Right or wrong, people do judge you by your attire, and if you want people to trust you and vote for you, you have to look like a leader. Just the way the game is played, like wearing a uniform to Catholic school.
