[Gen. Discussion] Cancellation of Ferry bus

New York Waterway "Civilized Commute"??
Much to my surprise, I found a leaflet in the ferry bus this morning, announcing the cancelation of the Edgewater/Fort Lee ferry bus service.
I live on Annett Ave in Edgewater (off River Rd) and have used the ferry bus forever.
Much to my chagrin, you changed the route a while ago from directly up and down Riverroad to a much longer loop through Fort Lee. That was a full punch, that did hurt.
Now, with this announcement, it feels like a hit below the belt.
I urge you to reconsider this cancellation.
You know as well as I do, that the NJT bus system is not up to par, it is inconvenient and not specifically timed well to departures/arrivals of ferries.
Especially on the way back from the City, it can take 30 minutes or more for a NJT bus to arrive. Those busses are going through the Lincoln tunnel and dependent on traffic (jams!!).
That is exactly the reason that I take the ferry, to get away from traffic and to have a CIVILIZED commute.
You tell me, what is in it for us -your customers-. Do we have to wait for those traffic-delayed busses to get us home?
I seriously urge you to pull this cancellation of MY ferry bus off the table. It maybe in your interest now, but I don't see 1 valid reason for myself to keep using the ferry, if I am locked in with the NJT system again. I rather sit in that bus from beginning till the end than wait at the ferry for those fully loaded busses to arrive.
In other words: you will lose me as a customer.
PS: I have ferry/ferry-bus combo tickets left; I will not be able to use the ferry-bus part.
Where do I redeem them or exchange for refund?
