No one mentions the pool with the man made waves... sure it was an extra 25cents or so after you snuck in but it was really unique..wasn't there a pipe running up the hill to the park behind Dempsey Ave. that was used for water for the pool from the Hudson, cleaned up naturally, or it may have been in those good old days, the outflow of the parks bathrooms.
