Midget Colony

My grandmother told me about the midget colony in Edgewater.

She said there are different theories about it. She had heard that in the early part of the century, silent movies were made in the Fort Lee and Edgewater area. Midgets were used in the films
alot for scenes, and there was houses built for them.

Also, Barnum and Baily circus used midgets in their shows and that expains the midget colony.This is what she had heard.
