He is the one who started Microsoft Corporation. His philosophy is that the person should be smart enough rather than experienced. A smart person can learn any jobs quickly and perform much better than the experienced person provided the person is smart and have the right ingredients of education, capacity to absorb, mental acuity etc. There are certain times when we need certain types of Leadership. We needed the leadership of Ronald Regan as the President at that time when it was appropriate to him to be the President of our country . We needed Bill Clinton to fix our economy. Leadership needs to change to inject new ideas. We need someone who can grab the new challenges that millenium will bestow upon us. "How can he know all there is to know about running a town from just attending meetings for 3 months?" Apply Bill Gates's philosophy :-)
