Clothes and Attitudes

There is a whole string of messages here between Tracy and Nelson. Since it is so long I thought I would start a new one. Anyway, Nelson, I think you mis-understood Tracy's original post about clothes and attitude. We object to the fact that Bruce Doneff thinks he is better than everyone else. I, personally, do not judge people by their degree or by the clothes they wear. However, I do think that at certain times, certain attire is more appropriate than others. For example, you would not wear a string bikini to a formal wedding, would you? That would show a lack of respect. Running for political office is serious and requires serious clothes. That is what is expected in our culture. I think the mayor of Palisades Park looks ridiculous when he attends important functions in a running suit. So, that is my 2 cents. Pax vobiscum.
