Edgewater is and always will be home to some, with all the things like floating refrigerators, swimming off White Dock, climbing the cliffs to go to Burger King. Miss directions to out of towner's on how to get to Walisades Park, climbing through the Palisades Park board walk to get into the park, Ray Calintoni taking us to ball games, the family festival Fire vs.PD Donkey Softball game. The nights the lights went out in NYC and thinking we were under alien attack or the island just sunk. Trips to West New York to shop at Christmas time, having a few drink and using White Castle burgers to cover up our deeds!!!LOL Playing stick ball on Undercliff Ave like pro ball players, doing the down and out pattern to the fire hydrant and cutting back after touching the Jurks car, touch down every time. Let us not for Ajax the high speed car catching dog who by the way caught a few cars!!LOL Catching lightening bugs, tree forts that we should have all been killed on because of the use of rusty nails and last but not least taken our sleds down Dempsey Ave which empty onto River Road, what the heck were we thingking???LOL Yes, for some of us there will always be so many great memories and with luck a few more to come.
