AHHHHHHHH, MEMORIES OF RIVER ROAD IN THE 50'S & 60"S. WE STARTED AT THE TOP OF RIVER RD IN FORT LEE, GOT UP A GOOD HEAD OF STEAM ON OUR BIKES AND LET IT GO. ONCE, I TRIED TO GET ONTO THE SIDEWALK GOING ABOUT 25 M P H AND HIT THE CURB, WENT HEAD OVER HEELS AND CAME TO A HALT AFTER SCRAPING THE LEFT SIDE OF MY FACE ,ARM, AND KNEE OFF. I STILL HAVE THE SCAR ON MY KNEE. EVERY TIME I LOOK DOWN MY KNEE REMINDS ME OF EDGEWATER. BOY DID I GET OFF TRACK. ANYWAY.....YES THE HORIZON HOUSE AND MEDITERRANEAN TOWERS ARE STILL THERE.
