Perhaps the question we should be asking is why so many people are standing in long lines to see this movie. There is no question that Moore has an agenda - he and everyone else are entitled to have an opinion and make money in a DEMOCRACY, but the fact that Fahrenheit 911 is now the number one movie in the country is truly remarkable. Why do you think that is?
You say, "...we are giving the Iraq people freedom of everything". What, exactly, does that mean? Yes, Saddam was a bad man, but so are dozens of other tin-pot dictators of countries (with NO oil), and what has this great nation done about them? We the people have been lied to and the current Republican representatives have devastated our global standing. They are the bullies of the block and seek absolution from invading a country that NEVER posed a threat to the United States of America by merely wrapping themselves in the American flag. Only with the TRUTH can we truly honor those men and women who have lost and will continue to lose their LIVES in this illegitimate war. Shame on this government, and shame on those who refuse to hold the truly culpable responsible for their illegal, immoral, and dangerous acts. Patriot Act be damned!
Lastly, I am very impressed that you would like to see the movie even though it may not agree with your current views. Hopefully more and more people will be as committed and intelligent to hearing both sides of the story. Please keep us posted on what you thought of the documentary, as I would be very interested in your opinion.
