powerboat accident today

Did anyone else see the powerboat accident on the Hudson today? It occured just after noon near Hudson Harbour.
The National Powerboat Association had their annual NYC Poker Run; the first heat of powerboats does 100+ miles per hour! One of the boats flipped over right in front of our eyes! All of the passengers were thrown into the Hudson (I heard they had no life vests on), and there were hundreds of other boats going over 100 miles/hour, right behind them, that could have hit them or their boat!
I understood that, fortunately, no one was seriously injured, (a major miracle), but the boat sank.
The NYC Police grabbed the boat, just as it went under, and towed it to the local marina.
Those boaters definitely had angels on their shoulders! They'll have quite a story to tell when all is said and done!
