I vaguely remember the drum and bugle corps practicing... sorry for the omissions...
I actually photos of the parade coming along the north part of Undercliff towards Rte 5... quite a hill to climb for some of the veterans who participated by walking... They hauled out a very old firetruck... maybe it was some neighboring town's truck. We could bring out lawn chairs and sit on the sidewalk and watch these very proud participants "do their thing."... well, and take photos of them doing it... I think Fred Grown would cover the event for his newspaper lo' those many years ago...
