Yes, I remember this too. However, does the fact that an Al-Queda training camp inside a remote area of a country give justification enough to launch an all out offensive to topple a government and arrest or kill the leaders of that government?
First, who knew, if anyone, in the toppled government of Iraq that that training camp was located in a remote province of Iraq. And did they know what the camp was used for (i.e., did they know of the training camp or did they just think it was just a temporary home for bedoin wanderers?
Before you say that the government had to know, or that the existence of some sort of ties provides ample justification, let's look at another location that trained the hijackers of 9/11...specifically the pilot training companies in Florida.
Now, the FBI has established that a number of the terrorists of 9/11 were trained in the deadly art of flying in Florida. Therefore, should the US invade Florida, topple the government and shoot or arrest the governor?
