Rambling

Today I decided to take a run around town and look at what River Road has to offer. The River Walk is great I must say, however I wish it was longer. How come it breaks up at times and you have to go through parking lots and unpaved sidewalks to continue? It seems as though it is unfinished. Are they still finishing it? Are they planning on extending it?

As I ran I was also looking for a place to buy an International calling card. I thought that I would find plenty since there is a diverse population in the area. As my luck would have it I only found one little shop to have a poor selection. Does anyone know of a good store that would have something?

As I gazed into the water I found lots of debris close to shore. The small garbage are understandable but when there are old walkways and large pieces of metal docked close to the shore you would think someone would clean it up. I can only imagine how long it has been there. Does anyone clean this up? Maybe the community should take charge and plan a clean-up day or something. I mean lets take pride in our town. We have so much here lets first make it clean and then we can keep it clean. Baby steps I say.

I'm not even complaining, I really enjoyed my day but come on, these are little things that can be done to really enhance the community.

Its just me Rambling but I would love to hear the thoughts of others on these topics.
