The Ferry Saga Continues

While I applaud the town for moving on getting these bids in and getting the ferry service rolling, I think that any bid should include imperator's just so it seems fair that all major potential operators get their chance to sway us.

Although I must say that IMHO Imperatore's excuse sounds like the lamest excuse for why they could not meet a deadline. If this thing was so important to them then they should have made sure to have the bid in days in advance and, for that matter, to have asked the questions they needed to ask weeks in advance.

If they cannot meet this SIMPLE request and have to delay our process more with the threat of court action....it makes me wonder about how they operate their existing ferry services.
