Tracy,

Arguing is not a nasty comment. Lying is more nastier than anything. It is considered sin in the eye of God.

People who hold office or run for office should not lie but should argue. Right? Lying should not be encouraged by any candidates. Right?


Let's say that I have heard a rumor that the incumbent Mayor is thinking of selling Marina. If I post this on the public forum and if Mayor Christansien responded logically refuting my post. Should I then post a message saying what a nasty comment? What a cheap trick of getting votes etc? I am commiting a sin by posting a rumor which has not been substantiated based on hearsay or cooked up in front of the workstation. It's lying..lying..lying...lying.


I am sorry that you are mixing arguing with sarcasm. It used to happen to me a lot while I was in school.
