I think it's a shame tyhat the parents aren't allowed to go in the water with the kids. It might be nice for the parents of very tyoung kids to be able to swim alongside their 2-6 years olds to teach them how to swim. Also, it's a bit silly to close the pool for one of the few hours it's open each day for the guard to have lunch. They should have a cover for him. Me and my young children went the first few weeks, and then stopped going because the bigger kids...8-12 really take over and make it unsafe for the smaller children to go in the bigger pool.

Couldn't the town expand this area with nicer seating..a nicer fence? A larger pool to accomidate adults and more swimmers? Also, it would be nice if there was a playground next to the pool....a sand box....shuffle board....some fun sprinklers like they have at most town pools these days....nice places tp sit and eat, along with a snack bar with some nice healthy lunch and snack items. There is easily enough space for everything. Our town should have just as much as other towns. We are a wealthy town now, and could easily raise money if someone had a fundraiser.

Might I suggest a fund raiser to create a better pool area for the growning town?
