NJ Plates

HELP! Just moved to Edgewater from Manhattan and need to register my car here. What do I do? I just got my NJ insurance. Where do I go for NJ plates and license? As much as it pains me to get rid of my NY plates and license, I'm resigned to the fact that I'm now a Jerseyite, Jerseyian, and gonna be proud of it.

Does anyone know if I can get one of those customize license plates that look like European ones, you know, the long ones?
