Mayor and Council Meeting - July 8, 2003 - 6:00PM

Just a quick correction on a recent post.

The Mayor and Council meeting scheduled for Tuesday, July 8, 2003, is set for 6:00PM - not 7:00 PM.

This was originally scheduled as a Work Session for the budget ONLY which is why it is on a TUESDAY and not a usual Monday and why it was scheduled early - 6:00PM - so we could get a good grasp on the budget.

The Mayor changed the meeting to a regular meeting and formal action may be taken. With what is now on the agenda: Ferry; Soil Removal Permit (Le Jardin); and letter from DOT (Department of Transportation regarding the Oxen Hill), it looks like the budget will (again) take a back seat. I would have thought that these items could have waited until the July 14th regularly scheduled meeting.
