PSE&G WORK ON RIVER ROAD (rev.)

On June 16, we posted:

"According to the Borough administrator, on or about June 25, 2003, PSE&G will be starting road work on River Road. In the area from Sterling Place to North Street, PSE&G will be putting in a new gas main. Traffic will be down to one lane when they actually start working. From Route 5 north to Glenwood Ave, PSE&G will be reconnecting services to residents and businesses in that area. The whole job is anticipated to be completed by Labor Day."

Well now we've been advised that "the start date for work on River Road has been pushed back to July 7th". We'll keep you posted if we hear that it's changed again.
