Hello there...
stumbled across this website while web-surfing...great way to get ideas out, dish, get feedback from residents...thought I might jump into the fray with a few comments...
As for a theater group in town, I'd love to see that happen...I joined the Demarest Little Theater years ago, and it was a terrific experience. As for where the productions could be staged, let me segue into describing what I've been working on lately. I would like to open an alcohol/smoke -free dance club for adults (not teens) High & Dry is a creative alternative to the bar scene, consisting of a network of musicians, dancers, artists, models, etc. We need a permanent space, I have a comprehensive Business Plan and am currently seeking investors.
The venue will create jobs, promote all the arts, promote healthy lifestyles. Too much to explain in one e-mail!
I lived in Edgewater for 12 years(now live in Cliffside -ugh! their idea of culture is Bingo, tricky tray nites, playing cards, DJ music and trips to AC) I 've always loved the people, the energy, the River and miss it all..you might have seen me at the Arts Festival, as I have many pix of the old Edgewater...Kudos for Neda Rose- she has great energy and ideas for all the arts in town, and I am happy to support all..
I'll look forward to hearing from the...Universe!
Namaste,
Lynn Earley
PS as for contacting Geraldo, thanks for reminding me - his birthday is next week, maybe I'll send him a friendly card...! Also, anyone interested in ballroom dancing, I'd love to hear from them...
