Edgewater Cemetary

I am doing geneology ressearch on my family (Truax) and from Joseph Mitchell's book UP THE OLD HOTEL;Chapter -The Bottom of the Harbor, tells of Truax's being buried in the Edgewater Cemetary in Shadyside.
Can anyone tell me if this is the Cemetary on River Road between Vreeland and Russell and who could I contact to see if my family is indeed buried there and possibly visit this site?
