I've been reading, not posting for a while now, because the hypocricy on this board disgusts me. However now I have something to say in response to "Paul" and "Sister."
Paul, you miss the really sophisticated view: we could have hired an urban planner in the early eighties and planned a complete town which reflected our heritage; a charming river town with all the diversity that implies. It would be much like the way Soho still refects it's background, and the planned communities in the south reflect theirs. It was doable, even at that time. We didn't seek the input.
Sister, you need to take a look at your obsessive hate in regurgitating "facts" about those you perceive to be the enemy. We got your message loud and clear months ago. Move on, hon.
