"The Rivermen" epilogue

The excerpts from Mr. Mitchell's essay cover only a small part of the essay, and I encourage any of you who are interested in reading it in its entirety to do so -- it's well worth it!
Also, it's been a lot of fun for me to hear the personal memories that ya'll have related from Mr. Mitchell's writing about Edgewater. It sounds like ya'll have some wonderful childhood memories about a fantastic hometown.
If you'd like to get a copy of the book that this essay was republished in, remember to look for _Literary_Journalism_, ISBN# 0-345-38222-6 (it is still in print). A quick search online showed me that this essay is also on the syllabus for several journalism classes in universities around the country, so you might be able to pick it up secondhand if you know where to look.
Hope everybody can stay dry this weekend!
