Snow Day?

Is it true that the borough hall was closed today? If so, that is ludicrous. Don't the majority of the employees live within walking distance? Actually I know of two people who live in the north end who walk every day. Even if there was only a skeleton crew, it should have been open.
I made it to Hackensack and back with no trouble even when this morning Hackensack had not plowed its roads.
