Where's the Ferry?

Blah blah blah. Let's get the show on the road. We voted the Pro-Ferry team onto the Council, now let's see some action. I want Ferry service in this town ASAP. I just read that Fast Ferry was also vying for the Edgewater contract in addition to NY Waterway. Does anyone know the status of this matter?
On an unrelated note, the shops at the Promenade are coming along quite nicely. Good ol' fashion Amercian real estate development, improved infrastructure, and consumerism, bring it on.
Can someone in the know please advise as to how long it will take to establish ferry service in town? Thanks! Tootles.
