Camelias in bloom

The camelias are in full bloom here in Cottageville! I have one ancient camelia that is nearly swallowed by a large pine. This particular camelia is bright red, and the blooms peeking out behind the pine tree brances make it look like nature's Christmas tree! The deer were out in abundance last night, it appears they like the corn I set out for them. Every now and then they venture up to the camelias and munch on some blossoms. Life is grand!
