Hello, Burr,
It was a pleasant surprise to read your haiku on this website. Like seeing a butterfly on a battlefield. I used to write them for their lessons in discipline and to help simplify my life. It didn't work then but I'll start again. Here's one:
While phantom discord
screeches on the web I hear
a lone poet sing.
