OK...NOW LET'S DROP THIS MARINA PURCHASE.......

Ok...Now that we have some fresh blood and maybe a more fiscally responsible council make-up...let's get out of this Marina purchase!
It is NOT open space..won't work as a marina AND park...and is best left to the private sector (remember, no high-rises are allowed in any new plan) to plan and make nice.
Let's use the money and find the police somewhere to work....THAT is what government is about...not funding commercial enterprises under the red herring "open space". Heck, the other great open space we have now (Ballfield) the mayor and council won't even take care of!!! (ie. un-level fields, geese problem, rusting old backstops, community center with mgt. problems etc. etc. etc.)
The council is cutting EVERY dept. and service in Edgewater and we're looking at 5 million for the marina, 5 mil for the Police Station, 1.2 million of the Fire Dept..........let's get real!
