Oh, thank you for your kind words! Actually, what I mean is that I would not mind having the marina if we can get it at minimum cost for the taxpayers but if we don't, life will go on. However, from all that I read and from attending council meetings, it seems that we will either be able to purchase the marina or get the owners to do a deed restriction. What I really object to is all the hysteria surrounding this issue. Yes, at one time there was some urgency to stop the townhouses but things have calmed down and we can keep cool heads. "Slow and steady wins the race". Why raise taxes if we don't have to? We are still recovering from the 70's and do not need a lot more municipal debt.
