The Marina owners were that close to building townhouses. They went before the Bd. of Adjustment asking for a varience to approve 68 townhouses. The only reason it did not go forward was because of the outcry from peolple like me. So it has happenned already, you are just not informed. Second,the owner only wants to keep a marina if the boro guarantees the note, and provides below market loans. If we are going to do that we may as well own it. Grant money is already there. We may as well take advantage of it. We are paying for it weather we use it or not. It does not cost us a penny more if we use available funds for this Open Space project.
