Bronx woman charged with witness tampering

Fairview’s 1965 Babe Ruth state champs are back for 50-year reunion

With a comeback victory over Ewing, the team became Fairview’s first and only Babe Ruth League state champions. Fifty years later, the excitement of that July 31, 1965, game, and the never-say-die mantra that defined that season, remains with the members of the team.
